Our Classes

 Math Programme (P3 – P6)

Following the Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract Model developed by American psychologist Jerome Bruner, lessons for the Math Programme begin with Concrete Math Manipulatives before moving on to Pictorial-Abstract Mastery Practice. Think Time is also factored in for students to exercise their logical thinking and reasoning processes.

Math Heuristics Programme (P4 – P6)

The Math Heuristics Programme focuses on the different approaches to problem solving. When students are equipped with these skills, their fear of word problems diminishes. By exploring different approaches, students become more flexible in their problem solving skills and answer unfamiliar questions with more confidence.

Science Programme (P4 – P6)

The Science Programme has two focuses: Discovery Science and Crafting Science Answers

Discovery Science allows students to discover that phenomenons around them can be explained with Science. They learn that the concepts are relevant in what they see in everyday life and make a connection with them.

In Crafting Science Answers, students learn to apply their science concepts in the contexts presented to them. Students are taught to explain their answers clearly, logically and link their observations to the science concepts learnt.
